Extended Pre-Production Cast Insurance

If required, pre-Production Cast Insurance can be issued to extend the "normal" pre-production period on specified artists and/or the director of the project.

Cast Insurance

Reimburses the production company for any extra expenditure necessarily incurred in completing principal photography as a result of the death, injury or illness of scheduled artists.

Essential Element Cast Insurance

This coverage gives the production company the right to abandon a production (as opposed to the insurance company) should the essential element cast participant become incapacitated to the point where they cannot complete the production.

Negative Film and Videotape

Reimburses the Production Company for additional out-of-pocket expenses incurred in re-shooting only the portion which is unacceptable as a result of damage to negative film, video tape, sound tracks, work prints and tapes.

Faulty Stock, Camera or Processing

Same as Negative Film when loss is caused by faulty raw stock, faulty camera or lenses, or faulty processing by the lab.

Props, Sets & Wardrobe

Provides coverage on props, sets, scenery, costumes, wardrobe, and similar theatrical property against risk of direct physical loss, damage or destruction.

Miscellaneous Equipment

Covers against risks of direct physical loss, damage or destruction to camera, sound, lighting, grip, generators, and similar miscellaneous equipment owned or rented by the Production Company.

Third Party Property Damage Liability

Provides Legal Liability coverage for damage to, or destruction of, property belonging to others (including loss of use of the property) while the property is in the care, custody or control of the Production Company, and is used or to be used in an insured production.

Extra Expense

Reimburses the Production Company for any extra expense incurred as a result of interruption, postponement, or cancellation of a production as a direct and sole result of loss or damage to property or facilities contracted by the Production Company.

Civil Authority

Same as Extra Expense except insures against the action of a Civil Authority that prohibits access to property or facilities.

Errors & Omissions

Provides Legal Liability coverage, including defense, against claims alleging unauthorized use of titles, format, ideas, characters, plots, plagiarism, unfair competition, libel, slander, defamation of character or invasion of privacy.

Commercial General Liability

Provides Legal Liability coverage for claims from third parties involving bodily injury or property damage arising out of filming activities.

Business Automobile Liability & Physical Damage

Provides Legal Liability coverage for claims from third parties involving bodily injury or property damage arising out of the use of automobiles. Also includes Physical Damage to said automobiles.

Foreign General Liability & Contingent Automobile Liability

Provides Legal Liability coverage for claims from third parties involving bodily injury or property damage arising out of filming activities outside of the United States of American and Canada.

Excess Liability/Umbrella Liability

Provides additional limits of coverage above Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, Employers’ Liability, Third Party Property Damage Liability Coverage, and if applicable Watercraft Liability and Aircraft Liability.

Workers' Compensation & Employers' Liability

This policy provides statutory coverage for medical, disability or death benefits to any employee who is injured in the course of his/her employment.

Foreign Workers Compensation

Provides Workers’ Compensation Insurance coverage for United States hires and/or Third Country Nationals, when filming outside of the United States.

Aircraft Liability & Hull

Provides coverage for claims from third parties involving bodily injury or property damage arising out of the use of aircraft. Also includes Physical Damage to said aircraft.

Watercraft (Protection & Indemnity) Liability & Hull

Provides coverage for claims from third parties involving bodily injury or property damage arising out of the use of watercraft. Also includes Physical Damage to said watercraft.

Animal Mortality & Extra Expense

This coverage reimburses the Production Company for the pre-established value of an animal who becomes deceased during a production. Animal Extra Expense would provide a "cast-type coverage" for insured animals that would reimburse the out-of-pocket expense incurred as a result of the interruption, postponement or cancellation of the production resulting from injury, death or illness to the animal so insured.

Railroad Protective Liability

Coverage includes Bodily Injury Liability, Property Damage Liability, and Physical Damage to Property of the railroad or adjacent thereto.

Adverse Weather Extra Expense

This coverage provides for extra expense incurred arising out of the interruption, delay or abandonment of the production due to adverse weather conditions at the location which reasonably and necessarily prevents filming or taping from taking place.

Money & Currency

This coverage provides for actual physical loss of money during production (i.e. petty cash) against robbery, theft, or fire.

Guild/Union Travel Accident

Provides Accidental, Death & Dismemberment coverage on all Cast and Crew members. Coverage is in accordance with any signatory requirements.
